Photo Safari:
Task- Find the shapes in the picture in everyday places and photograph.
For the photo safari shoot, I will be located mainly outside as to achieve the rather abstract shapes. The cameras I intend to use are the Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ82 and Canon 4000D as they will receive best results. I particularly like this photo safari as it forces the photographer to look for things in everyday places which they wouldn't usually search for nor notice. It is a very creative idea which causes us to use and change different settings when we often would not- for example, changing the shutter speed so it remains open for longer to capture blur, I would like to do this in the form of light painting. |
Photo Safari/Most Successful:I prefer this image over the others as the technique light painting was used to receive a photograph which stands out for its luminosity. This long exposure shot is unedited. It is bright, colourful and contrasts against the dark sky, yet is not under exposed or under exposed.

Photo Safari/Least Successful:I dislike this picture as it does not represent the drawing we were given to emulate. It also needs editing; the colour is dull, the rule of thirds was not used and its wonky. I also think I may have liked the building more if the blinds were different colours or some were open whilst others shut- though this is not practical nor dynamic in reality I would look nice as a picture.
